Turkish sound pack for a coding assistant
98 short clips from Turkish films, TV and internet videos, mapped to 21 events of a notification plugin for a terminal AI coding assistant.
What it is
Source: the pack's JSON manifest and sounds folder (98 MP3 files), read 2026-11-05
A Turkish sound pack for a notification plugin used with a terminal AI coding assistant. The plugin plays a short sound when something happens in a session, and a pack decides which sounds. Mine is a set of short clips cut from Turkish films, TV series and internet videos, each mapped to one event: a session starting, a task finishing or failing, the assistant waiting for my input, a limit being hit, and each kind of tool call starting or finishing. A JSON manifest in the plugin's shared format ties every event to its clips.
What happened
I made the pack and its event mapping in February 2026 and added install steps for macOS, Linux and Windows in March. Windows needs one extra step: Turkish characters in the file names (İ, ş, ü, ö, ç, ğ) can garble the manifest read, so the guide tells Windows users to read it as UTF-8.
The pack is public, but I don't link it from here. The clips come from films and shows owned by other people, and some of the lines are rude. The drawing above shows how the clips spread over the events instead.
